Fishing in Mazatlan

Beautiful weather and amazing year-round fishing conditions, make Mazatlan the perfect destination for your next sportfishing adventure!  Mazatlan is blessed with both world class Deep Sea Fishing and Bass Fishing at the famed El Salto Lake.

Deep Sea Fishing

The famed marlin-rich waters of the Mexican Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez offer amazing year-round fishing conditions. Approximately 1,000 Marlin and Sailfish are caught annually of the coast of Mazatlan and is the reason why Sports Fishing magazine named Mazatlan one of the top 10 sport fishing destinations in the world.  Thousands of anglers visit each year to try and break the 2006 record Blue Marlin caught by Ricardo Somoza (850 pound, 12 foot).   In addition to Marlin and Sailfish, you can expect to reel in a Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), Bonito, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish and many other fish species.
